About the Freeman MBA Blog

Hi I’m Joel Yarmon and this is the Tulane University Freeman School of Business MBA Blog. This site was created by students for those considering returning to business school. Information about classes, life in New Orleans, financial aid, abroad opportunities and the admissions process will all be covered here. Nothing is censored; what you read is what was written (okay, maybe I spell checked first).

If there’s something you’d like to see covered feel free to email me! joel@tulanemba.org

Or call - anytime!

Hi Joel, Good to see a blog exclusively for Tulane MBA graduates and potential students.

I completed my Exec MBA in 2007 and would strongly recommend the program. The faculty that we had during the program were top-notch in the field. In simple word - GREAT!

Why has the Freeman School dropped out of the top 50 rankings (U.S. News)?

The full time class size is only 70? I thought it was much larger than that when I was there 20 years ago.

Hi I would like to know about housing, I´m planning to attend Tulane as a master of finance graduate student (single) and I was wondering about housing options off campus (cost , conditions, recommended neighborhoods for someone without a car :P)
