Back from Thanksgiving, time to refocus on school

November 26th, 2007 · 1 Comment

Hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving (or weekend for those outside the US)! I was able to see some old friends, network a little and continue the job search, all while stuffing myself full of turkey/stuffing/mashed potatoes/squash/rolls/pie/cake/cookies/brownies/whatever else I could lay my hands on. Suffice to say, if a hurricane hit New Orleans now, I’d be able to live off the fat of the land long enough for even FEMA to rescue me!

Lots in store at the Freeman School in the next three weeks. The semester’s ending. With that comes final exams and presentations. The 2nd year’s are going to Paris December 10th as part of the Global MBA curriculum, and I have some iPod Nano’s to give away to two lucky winners so far (I’ll contact you this week if you won)! If you haven’t entered to win one, I’d encourage you to do so…the odds are better than 1 in 20 for active commenters.

In addition to all that, I’m flying out for another job interview this Thurs/Fri…job hunting is my most time consuming class this semester. Out of all of my classes, that’s the one I _have_ to pass :)

Have a great week,
Joel Yarmon

Hope I have a chance to win an iPod!!! :) You’ll certainly see me around the campus with the tunes deafening my sensitive ears, thats if I win one of course. :)
