Case competitions are an integral part of business school. The big competition at the Freeman School is the Tulane Entrepreneurs Association Business Plan Competition - a $40,000 affair!
Freeman MBA’s are also regularly invited to participate in other schools’ competitions. For example, I received the following email last week:
We hope to have your full-time MBAs represented at the March 28-29 Sony Marketing Case Competition in Fort Worth at TCU.
Senior Sony execs will judge. Over $12,000 in prizes will be awarded. Teams will be comprised of mixed students, assigned the evening of March 28. Product is an emerging consumer technology product.
For more information and to register, please have your students go to www.neeleymbabusinesscase.com

Free agent looking for a team. Wondering if anyone out there has space on their team for an additional member and/or if anyone is looking to start a team. I keep saying I’d like to do a case or business plan competition but never have the time. Any one want to attempt making time for this thing? hp
